Dr. Katie Wasson is the founder of Olde Towne Dental and is a proud Mississippi native. Dr. Wasson received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Mississippi in 2010, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. She then completed dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, School of Dentistry in Jackson, MS in 2019. Dr. Wasson completed her residency in general practice dentistry and has been practicing in Mississippi for the last three years.

Dr. Wasson started Olde Towne Dental because she wanted to provide a unique experience for her patients. Her background in psychology paired with her dentistry expertise allows her to create a calming experience for her patients. She believes your visit should be anxiety-free, which is reflected from the time her patients walk in the door, with its modern and minimal design, to the moment they meet Dr. Wasson, and throughout the entire visit.

She is a member of the American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, Mississippi Association of Women Dentists, and American Academy of Clear Aligners (Invisalign). Dr. Wasson enjoys building relationships with patients and helping them create a brighter smile. Outside of her practice, Dr. Wasson enjoys participating in marathons and Ironman triathlons, spending time with family and friends, and her golden retriever, Winston.
